Our team is looking for an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) with a background in both on premises and cloud-based solutions who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a talented Agile engineering team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons’ Space Operations directorate.  In this role you will get to focus on the cybersecurity aspects of system design to deal with cyber-related disruptions, minimizing misuse and malicious behavior, while providing “day-to-day” support across multiple classification levels.

This position is located in Colorado Springs and requires working in the office.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or an engineering field with at least 15 years technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degreePerforms oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy advises program managers on security testing methodologies and processes, evaluate certification documentation and provide written recommendations for accreditations, periodically review system security to accommodate changes to policy or technologyThe ISSM will act as the primary security advisor to the Program Manager (PM), Authorization Official (AO), and Information System Owner (ISO).Utilize Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO), Interim Authorization To Test (IATT), and Authority to Connect (ATC) for all existing and new Information Systems (IS) that require accreditation to include on premise and cloud platformsStrong experience with DoD and United States Space Force (USSF) Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes/proceduresHands-on experience enforcing information protection policies for all environmentsExperience with task management, metrics collection, and status reporting to managementStrong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentationExperience with sanitization and destruction procedures, contaminations, incident response, virus scanning, privileged user access, and hardware/software configuration managementHave expert knowledge and hands on experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Host Based Security System (HBSS) / TrellixKnowledge and experience with both VMware virtualized environments as well as cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure)DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.) or ability to rapidly obtainMust have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partnersWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be a US Citizen due to government contractTop Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Secret Compartmented Information (SCI)100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

Desired Skills:

Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps operations and requirementsKnowledge of cyber tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, vulnerability detection, scripting languages and/or programming languagesExperience with both creation and maintenance of authorization relevant documentation (SSP, CONOPS, PPSM, etc.)Experience conducting SCAP compliance testing and ACAS / Nessus scans of systems to determine security complianceExperience implementing and managing Trellix ePO, including policy creation and troubleshooting compatibility / performance issues

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
