Information Security Specialist I-Digital and Technology Partners - Remote
**Job Description** We are seeking a skilled **Information Security Specialist** to join our cybersecurity team. This role will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, with expertise in SailPoint. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with access governance, identity lifecycle management, role-based access control, and security best practices. **Qualifications** Education: + Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.STEM degree discipline strongly preferred Experience: + Three years of technical experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. + 5-7 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with at least 2 years of experience using SailPoint strongly preferred. + Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow + Strong understanding of IAM principles, RBAC, SOD, and identity lifecycle management. + Experience integrating SailPoint with enterprise applications and directories. + Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Java). + Working knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. + Experience with cloud IAM (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta) + Familiarity with PAM, MFA, and SSO technologies + Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles Non-Bargaining Unit, 296 - DTP Security - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital **Responsibilities** · Assist in the design, implement, and manage identity governance solutions using SailPoint · Implement access reviews, certification campaigns, and automated provisioning workflows. · Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to gather requirements and deliver IAM solutions that align with organizational goals. · Monitor IAM platform health, perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning. · Investigate and remediate access-related security incidents or anomalies. · Ensure IAM systems comply with regulatory and security frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001, NIST). · Document configurations, processes, and procedures to support operational continuity. · Provide SME-level support for SailPoint during internal audits and security assessments. · Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups, State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security. · Performs access control and account administration of critical information resources. · Helps to coordinate the reporting data security incidents and may participate in investigations. · Provides technical expertise and support to client, IT management and staff in risk assessments. · Advises on information security opportunities that can be utilized or adapted to meet business area objectives. **About Us** **Strength through Unity and Inclusion** The Mount Sinai Health System is committed to fostering an environment where everyone can contribute to excellence. The salary range for the role is $82000 - $123000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
