MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Information Security Analyst Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of U.S. Army Europe in Hohenfels Germany . You will play a crucial role in supplying critical mission command support to the U.S. Army mission.
Interact daily with GDIT project technical teams and remote Government program security manager, and represent the project with the agency ISSM and other Government information security teams.Develop CIPs, STPs, SSPs and POA&MsConduct risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application level.Configure, run and review Nessus scans and report on vulnerabilitiesConfigure and review reports from security assessment tools and technologies including but not limited to SPLUNK and E-policy Orchestrator (HBSS).Perform STIG evaluations and assessments and provide input for corrective measures.Perform regular security audits and reviews of systems, networks and applications, identifying vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues needing remediation.Collaborate, develop and execute incident response plans with security teams within the organization.Assist with maintaining security documentation including security plans, policies and procedures in accordance with government requirements.Assist ISSM in the management and processing of user accounts both in support of standard JMRC operations and in support of exercise rotations.Manage IA accreditation process, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that IA reviews are successful.Implement security controls and formulate operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs.Research, evaluate and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies.Understand relevant Federal policies and regulations for PKI, networking, IT systems, virtualization, and cloud.Demonstrate initiative, judgement, responsiveness, and excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

Education: Bachelors DegreeExperience: 10+ years of experience providing information assurance support for full lifecycle IT projects; 5 years of experience performing IA accreditation and support on projects with similar technologiesTechnical Skills: Previous experience with Windows, Linux OS vulnerability assessments; Previous experience with PKISecurity Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI Security ClearanceU.S. Citizenship RequiredRole Requirements: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification; CISSP Certification
