Job Description:

We are looking for an Information Security Analyst: Tier 1 to join the Cybersecurity Operations team at Bank of America. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organizations digital assets. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will intake cybersecurity related requests from internal and external entities that require triage, remediation or escalation

Responsibilities

Assists business leaders and technology teams by supporting initiatives requiring Global Information Security (GIS) engagement and facilitating problem resolution for cyber security related issuesSupports adherence to appropriate risk tolerance levels, operating in accordance with defined information security policies to protect against threats to data confidentiality, integrity, and availabilitySupports teammates who serve as “security ambassadors” helping partners drive strategic and innovative risk mitigation priorities and navigate the GIS organizationInterprets the information security requirements outlined in polices, standards, and procedures and reinforces requirements through education and awarenessPromotes awareness of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and advises on potential information security exposureAssesses and mitigates cyber security risks related to application, network, infrastructure, and public cloudResponsible for data quality and completion of incident tickets, including ensuring all impacts are accurately recorded and documented in the system of record in a timely manner 

Additional Expectations/Requirements of Role

Role is in the Addison office 5 days a weekThe work schedule for this role will be from Tuesday – SaturdayExpectation of weekend shift work

Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordinglySelf-starter/self-directed, organized and detail orientedWillingness to learn and take direction in a fast paced and ever-changing environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understandingBroad awareness of information security operations and/or enterprise information technology (Enterprise data management, application development, network management).
