Job Responsibilities Assist with support of current network security and email and web security tasks Liaise with other teams to promote good security practices and explain security procedures Experience with Service Now Building relationships with I&O Teams Gain exposure and experience by job shadowing Information and Security analysts. Perform unit testing to ensure change was successfully implemented. Ensure back-ups are done; the relevant document status updated and documents stored. Review logs and reports under supervision. Retain and archive all logs and requests. Monitor Service Centre and e-mails for incidents related to Information Security. Gather the required incident information from the agreed information sources per the agreed timelines. Capture incident information/input into the specified toolsets. Ensure job related tasks and processes are in place. Follow up on exceptions; queries and incidents as instructed with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions to remain current. Understand and embrace the Nedbank Vision and Values by demonstrating the values through interaction with team and stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives. Ensure that own contribution and participation contributes to the achievement of team goals. Create and manage own career through guidance and support of management; department and colleagues. Improve personal capability and to stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management. Participate in Nedbank culture building initiatives (e.g.. Surveys etc.) contributing to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals. Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g.. Green Strategy). Seek opportunities to improve relevant processes and systems by identifying; recommending and implementing effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank. Technical Knowledge General knowledge of Information Security Principles Ensuring asset register is maintained Experience with Email Security Technologies Experience Service Now Experience Microsoft O365 Knowledge of Service nowEssential Qualifications - NQF Level Diploma Minimum Experience Level
Minimum of 1 years experience in an IT operations team and service now experience.
