Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Information Management Specialist to join our Water/Wastewater business line, providing essential support to the Department of Water Management (DWM) and internal stakeholders. This position focuses on ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, supporting daily workflows, user access, and system optimization for critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for EAM operations within the Department of Water Management.Manage user access including creation, updates, and deactivation of users and user groups to maintain system security and integrity.Configure system elements such as custom fields, dataspies, and commodity codes.Perform contract and pricing updates within the EAM system.Develop and maintain Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) to support training and system usage.Deliver training sessions to DWM staff and internal EAM users.Process and index project documents into enterprise content management systems to support project execution.Resolve documentation or information system issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.Support and mentor lower-level staff, including task delegation and quality review.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering Technology or related field and 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems or relevant experience.  (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor, Cityworks, Oracle WAM, or similar platforms) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience managing user access, including creating, modifying, and deactivating users and user groups.Experience with system configuration, such as creating custom fields, data views, and updating commodity codes or contract information.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving user / system issues.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint or other ECM tools is a plus.Excellent organizational and communications skills.
