Job Description

SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION

Information Development includes the development, production, and delivery of information products in English, in support of Rockwell Automation software products. An Information Developer (A.K.A. Technical Writer) will be responsible for developing online Help systems, technical user manuals and guides, and any additional deliverables necessary to meet product specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation (e.g. help files, release notes, usermanuals, etc.)Research and resolve issues in a SAFe development environmentRespond with urgency to requests for information and technical assistanceCommunicate successfully and efficiently on a geographically distributed global team

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Good technical writing and verbal communication skills in EnglishGood teamwork spirit and fast learning capabilitiesFamiliar with the writing guidelines of Microsoft Manual of StylesFamiliar with HTML and DITAFamiliar with content development tools, such as Adobe Experience Manager, Robo Help, FrameMaker, Author-it, etc.Basic knowledge of Industrial Automation and/or software

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Major & English level: English (language and literature, translation, linguistics, etc.) & TEM 8
