Records Research Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Research Assistant to support asset management with records research, correction, and documentation activities. This role supports internal employees and external contractors by providing accurate and timely records information.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform records research using digital document management and mapping systems
+ Assist employees and contractors with records-related projects under the direction of Asset Management staff
+ Support records correction and validation efforts as needed
+ Provide support to the by handling inbound requests during business hours and assigned after-hours rotations
+ Maintain accuracy and organization of records and related documentation
**Preferred Experience & Qualifications**
+ Experience with utility operations records, geographic parcel data, or parcel legal research,
+ Knowledge of records and information management programs and automation tools,Proficiency with digital mapping tools such as Google Earth, Google Street View, and Bing Maps
+ Ability and willingness to learn GIS mapping systems
+ Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
**Skills & Abilities**
+ Ability to work effectively independently and within a small team
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to analyze and manage large sets of records and data
**Position Details**
+ **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
+ **Work Environment:** On-site - Tulsa
