Informatics leverages our uniquely equipped Physician and Nurse Informaticists to promote and improve the utilization of innovative technologies consistent with the goals and objectives of clinical and strategic initiatives of the organization and to support care transformation We serve as liaisons between Clinicians and Information Technology to align clinical standards with IT standards and develop workflows processes and policies Our teams provide support to our Regions Institutes and councils as well as supporting and driving System wide projects that leverage innovation to achieve healthcare transformationPosition ResponsibilitiesKey Areas of ResponsibilitymiddotAssist in strategic project movement including participating in meetings reviewing documents aligning resources and interfacing between the build team and clinical colleaguesmiddotCollaborate with project teams on initiatives including building workflows documenting workflows and planning meeting agendasmiddotManage work group meetings and participate in system committees and task forces Provide advice and support to requestors Assist with clinical communication rounding with nursing and translating clinical requests into actionable SBARsmiddotAnalyze data and identify trends to inform the selection and implementation of new technologies and processesmiddotDevelop and implement change management strategies to guide the clinical teams through the transition to new tools and systemsmiddotCollaborate with the Center for AI Innovation in Healthcare to ensure alignment and understanding SpecialtyComputer Science MIS Business Administration or either related field or equivalent work experiencemiddotPreferred MSN MS MBA or advance degree in Informatics with major coursework in Clinical Specialty Computer Science Analytics or healthcare managementExperiencemiddotMinimumoFive years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment including demonstrated successful management of program teamsoStrong analytics skills written and verbal communication skills and customer service experience in a health care settingmiddotPreferredoOutstanding knowledge of Healthcare clinical operationssectThree years Electronic Medical Record experience Epic preferredsectThree years of experience with a variety of clinical systems technologies including mobile devices remote monitoring virtual health analytics and innovation desirablesectThree years of project leadership experiencesectExperience working with Lean or Six Sigma in a project roleLicensure Certification RegistrationmiddotMinimum Active professional licensure RN APRN or other Clinical Specialty in the State of ConnecticutmiddotPreferred Informatics or other specialty certification in related field Project Management Professional certification Change Management Methodology and Change Management Methodology LEANKnowledge Skills and Ability Requirementsmiddot Excellent communication and
