Responsibilities
Provide patient care in the clinic and hospital settings and also provide physician support for the Infectious Control and Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs. In the hospital practice, provide consultations/follow ups for a large variety of infections: endocarditis, orthopedic infections, HIV/AIDS, pneumonias, zoonotic diseases, complicated soft tissue infections, endemic mycoses, tick-borne diseases, minority of transplant-related infections. In the clinic practice, see patients for post-hospital follow ups, travel clinic, referrals from other physicians and e-consults to connected Critical Care Access hospitals.
Qualifications
MD, DO or foreign degree equivalent. Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. BE/BC in Infectious Diseases or in final year of ACGME-accredited program leading to board eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
