General Summary
Prepares, batches, and delivers all infant feedings for NICU patients. Understands proper storage of breastmilk and adheres to sanitary requirements and standards established by regulating agencies and Hospital policies/ protocols. Practices aseptic technique. Follows recipes for milk mixtures precisely. Basic math competency is required.

Must be strong communicator, able to follow instructions and comfortable asking questions.Understands significance of proper nutrition for NICU patients.Must be detail oriented and able to focus on work.Task isolation required: one patient's feeding must be completed, counters and equipment cleaned before another patient's feeding preparation begun.Should enjoy working alone in quiet environment.
