Job Description
Role Overview:You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects in order to deliver quality service, and develop relationships, identify opportunities, and yield profitable business. Accountable for retention of clients and new business development. There is the requirement to understand the client's business and their broad needs in order to provide solutions that address those needs. Requires full knowledge of the product line and its applications, and can effectively provide multi-faceted solutions for clients.
The Account Manager – Oil & Gas and Chemicals; will be the industry subject matter expert (SME) within assigned customer accounts. Reporting to the Process Industry Sales Manager, you will expand our hardware, software, services and solutions into mining & metals space. You will collaborate with the internal Rockwell domain expert team and channel partners. . Areas of focus are Process Control, Digital Software Solutions, Machine Control, Power Control, Life Cycle Services offerings in the aforementioned industry areas. You will work onsite in Calgary, Alberta and report to the Industry Sales Director, Process.
Your Responsibilities:You will generate sales opportunities and close deals within assigned regional accountsYou will consult with the customer with a high degree of Industry expertise and access to domain/technical knowledge and support in operational problem solving that will create solutions to the customer's problems.You will be seen as the SME in solutioning within Rockwell's industry-driven product portfolio linking services and technology to support the intended business outcome for the customer.You will communicate activities and account status with internal/external stakeholders- documenting in our CRM.You will pull together the solution components and experts to qualify and develop a design.
