You will be the Industrial Engineer for our World Class Electronic Manufacturing facility in Lufkin, TX. Our team is responsible for applying advanced Industrial Engineering techniques to optimize production flow, capacity, and efficiency in our state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes, layouts, and material handling methods to drive efficiency and productivity. Your responsibilities will include:
• Effectively apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines
• Perform labor, efficiency and capacity analyses as well as standard data development
• Identify and provide justification for required resources (capital, equipment, tools, etc.) based on analysis of production flow and capacity
• Analyze HPU variance and trends for assigned area(s) to identify and address opportunities for improvement
• Analyze and improve production layouts to be optimal for current and future production rates
• Evaluate and improve material handling methods in assigned area(s)
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 8 yrs professional experience
• Industrial Engineering knowledge including learning curve application and manufacturing touch labor performance analysis
• Experience performing capacity analyses
• Experience in creating or modifying production layouts utilizing AutoCAD or similar software
• Trained in Lean Six Sigma tools and practices and experience using statistical analysis
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with all levels of employees, leadership, customers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience in a production environment with knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes in a factory environment
• Manufacturing cost reduction and variance reporting experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with Apriso
• Experience creating and modifying Simulations using Simio software
• Skilled in problem-solving techniques and methods
• Familiarity with MFC products and processes
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
