Responsibilities:

Review work assignments, special instructions and other documentation to facilitate planning of workPrepare surfaces for finishing to ensure a quality, durable finish (whether wood stains or paints) which meets established conformance requirementsPriming surfaces with materials appropriate to the product line and performing final cleaning, washing and sanding of primed areas prior to paintingCommunicating with Lead or Production Manager regarding any issues or problemsFinish surfaces according to established specifications including any touch-up workLead preventative maintenance activities through out the wet paint area. Responsible for training others the correct methods and frequencies of maintenance.Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Working hours: 3:25 PM - 3:35 AM

Skills:

Experience with wood finishing, working with sanding, prepping, staining and sealing of wood products.Experience with painting of wood, steel and aluminum productsOrganize and manage multiple projects at onceExperience with equipment for mixing and painting methods

Demonstrated experience of high level of organization and attention to detailMust stand a considerable amount of timeAbility to reach and bend to apply coatings at all anglesMust be able to occasionally lift 40-pound containers
