Industrial Production Engineer

Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for an Industrial Production Engineer to support production readiness, efficiency, and cost performance within the AGS Aerospace Production and Repair Unit (APrU). The role focuses on evaluating production processes, tooling, and methods to ensure operational requirements are met in compliance with FAA and regulatory standards.

In this position, you will also work closely with Process Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, and will be responsible to identify capability gaps, supports new production requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, throughput, and standard cost performance.

Tier 1 - Referral Bonus Payout - $2,500

Key Areas of Responsibility

Review production requirements, technical data, tooling, and processes to ensure production readiness and capability; Identify and address constraints impacting quality, schedule, efficiency, or cost.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, throughput, and cost reduction.Collaborate with Process Engineering and Production to define and implement standardized methods and work instructions.Support new part numbers, product introductions, and changes in production demand.Interpret drawings, bills of material, routings, and work instructions to ensure alignment with shop-floor execution.Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues; Provide day-to-day production engineering support to manufacturing and repair operations; Support SAP production data accuracy, including routings and work centers.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma / GED.3 years experience in a Aerospace repair / maintenance environment preferably with FAA Part 21 and Part 145 knowledge.Knowledge of FAA production regulations (FAA Part 21).Demonstrated experience in Process Improvements.Ability to read and understand technical drawings and Bill of Materials.2+ years working with SAP, TeamCenter or equivalent ERP and Configuration management tools.

Total Target Cash (TTC) 73,525.50 - 122,542.50 USD Annual
