Industrial Painter (Up To 22/hr)
Job Title: PainterJob Description

The Painter/Coater is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paints, coatings, or sealants to metal. This position ensures proper surface preparation, mixing of materials, and application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish and long-lasting protection.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required.Mix and apply paints and coatings.Inspect surfaces for proper preparation and finish quality.Read and interpret technical data sheets, work instructions, and work orders.Operate and maintain painting and coating equipment safely and efficiently.Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain clean and organized work areas.Document work completed and report any issues or defects.Assist with inventory of paint supplies and request materials when needed.Work with other departments to meet production or project deadlines.
Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in a machine shop or machining facility.Proven experience in painting, coating, or a similar role.Knowledge of various painting and coating techniques and ability to operate spray guns, paint booths, and related tools.Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPrefer candidates that have High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) experience.Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
