Job Description

Ōnin Staffing is hiring Industrial Painter Helpers to join our client’s team in Clayton, NC! This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in industrial painting while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

As a Painter Helper, you’ll assist in preparing and painting skids and custom containers, while learning the trade and building valuable skills for long-term growth.

Location: Clayton, NCPay Rate: $16.50–$17.50/hr (Depending on Experience)Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:45 PM (Friday Overtime as needed)Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services
What You’ll Do:Assist with painting skids and custom containersPrep materials by sanding, grinding, or cleaning surfacesHelp mix and apply paint under supervisionMove and position materials (forklift/crane training available)Keep work area clean and follow safety proceduresSupport the team to meet daily production goals


Work Experience
What We’re Looking For:Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred (not required)Willingness to learn painting skills and work with hand toolsComfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periodsTeam player with good communication and work ethicExperience with paint prep, forklifts, or PPE is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Demands:Fast-paced industrial settingRequires standing, bending, and liftingPPE provided (respirator use may be part of the job)
