Responsibilities Prepare automotive parts and components by standing, cleaning, and masking Mix and apply specialized automotive paints/coatings using spray equipment Operate in downdraft booths with air-supplied respirators for high-quality finishes Inspect painted auto parts for defects and perform precise touch-ups Maintain spray guns and automotive painting equipment Follow strict safety protocols for chemical handling and PPE Keep work area clean and organized to meet automotive industry standards Assist with part handling, storage, and shop maintenance as needed
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years automotive/industrial painting experience WHMIS certification Experience with spray guns (HVLP/conventional) and downdraft booths Ability to use air-supplied respirators (PAPR/SCBA) Vocational training in auto refinishing Experience in auto body/manufacturing environments Forklift certification Experience with paint thickness testing Class 5 Drivers License, Own transportation (Must) Able to start immediately (Next business day) Employment Details Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday The location: Orillia, Ontario Other: 3-month contract, possibility of extension or becoming permanent, weekly pay.
