Job Description

As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paints and finishes to industrial hydraulic power units and machines from surface preparation through project completion. This role is part of the 1st Shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will follow detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines while working under immediate supervision.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the best type of paint, coating, or finish to be applied to the surface of the machine or power unit.Determine the best method of painting, finish, or coating application, such as spray paint or brush.Clean the surface of the machine or object for paint or coating application.Mix paint, 2 Part Epoxy, and enamel to the specified color, consistency, and viscosity.Apply paint, coating, or finish to machines/power units in accordance with customer specifications.

Essential Skills

Experience in painting, paint preparation, and industrial painting.Proficiency in using a spray gun and working in a paint booth environment.Ability to inspect and prepare parts for painting.Ability to wear a paint respirator mask when applying paints, coatings, and finishes.Experience cleaning nozzles and other spraying equipment after each job.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with a family/team atmosphere. The role requires physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motions. Agility, balance, and the ability to perform tasks requiring coordination and strength are necessary for this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
