**Job Title: Industrial Painter (1st Shift, $20-30/hour based on experience)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Painter for the Day Shift to apply specialized protective coatings to heavy industrial equipment and fabricated metal components. **Responsibilities** + Surface preparation: Clean, sandblast, or sand surfaces to remove rust or old paint, ensuring a smooth, long-lasting finish before applying coatings. + Coating application: Use brushes, rollers, or industrial sprayers to apply primers, zinc, or other specialized protective coatings to meet customer specifications. + Quality control: Inspect painted surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, verifying the proper thickness and finish of the coating and performing necessary touch-ups. + Equipment operation: Operate industrial painting equipment, such as pressure pots and specialized spray guns, and handle abrasive blasting equipment proficiently. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in painting, industrial painting, and powder coating. + Experience in paint preparation and spray gun operation. + Strong attention to detail in ensuring quality and precision in painting tasks.
