**Now hiring an Industrial Painter in Waynesboro, PA** **Job Description** As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for performing paint preparation functions, operating grinders, and applying industrial coats of paint. You will handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds and perform visual inspections to ensure quality. **Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm** **Pay Rate: $21-$24/hour** **Responsibilities** + Perform general paint preparation functions including sanding, grinding, polishing, masking, and priming parts. + Operate hand-held grinders and machine grinders to polish parts post-painting or remove surface layers prior to painting. + Manually hang parts up to 50 pounds on elevated hook-conveyors or utilize overhead and jib cranes for parts in excess of 50 pounds. + Apply industrial coats of paint using high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) guns. + Inspect painted parts visually for defects, runs, and color matching. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, family-owned business where you won't feel like just a number.
