The purpose of this position is to provide the technical leadership to the assigned Industrial Operations IT (Information Technology) sub team to analyze, identify and drive improvements, as well as to be responsible for the support, design and implementation of complex assigned Industrial Operations1 IT systems and processes across a larger scope of business operations. This position is also responsible for assuring that IT solutions meet the needs of the business operations, meet regulatory requirements, adhere to Information Systems (I/S) and Industrial Operations IT standards and do not negatively impact the operations.Providing leadership and technical direction for assigned systems to members of the assigned Industrial Operations IT team and to more technical operations team membersDelivering solutions for assigned Industrial Operations systemsSupporting solutions for assigned Industrial Operations IT systems, as well as supporting people, hardware, software, and the IT infrastructure in assigned business areasPerforming the analysis of production processes and the design of new and improved system solutions to facilitate and support Industrial Operations business processesPlanning and prioritizing projects and support efforts within the area of responsibilityKeeping current the incumbent’s business and technical knowledge and for the development of training materials and for training operations associates on operating procedures for new and existing IT systems
