**Job Title: Industrial Mechanic** **Job Description** As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, PLC programs, blow mold machines, injection mold machines, material handling equipment, AC/DC drives, lighting systems, and blending/mixing systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal efficiency, minimize downtime, and uphold quality and safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair equipment to optimize efficiency, downtime, quality, and safety. + Read blueprints and technical manuals to perform equipment changes, mold changes, and set-ups. + Repair, replace, and adjust electrical or mechanical parts in machines and equipment. + Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on hydraulic equipment, electrical, and mechanical components. + Install new equipment and overhaul machines when necessary. + Respond to maintenance issues from operators, packers, quality assurance, and plant supervision. + Train, instruct, and mentor new hires or lower-level maintenance staff. + Manage pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, bearings, air pressure equipment, drives, valves, AC/DC, cylinders, pumps, various shafts, and secondary equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in maintenance mechanics, electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, fabrication, and preventative/corrective maintenance. + Blueprint reading, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with industrial maintenance and repair, machine repair, and working with 3-phase motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Adaptability to manufacturing working conditions. + Preferred experience with MS Office. + Preferred knowledge of 5S methodology. + A 2-year degree or 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a world-class leader in the manufacturing of industrial containers, offering an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, paid holidays, and paid vacation.
