**Aerotek is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians in Southside Richmond, VA!** **Job Description** As an Electromechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery at a food distribution facility. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of equipment such as cutters, conveyors, tumblers, metal detectors, and check weighers. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance and repair on machinery, including cutters, conveyors, tumblers, metal detectors, and check weighers. + Troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs to resolve operational issues. + Conduct electrical troubleshooting and wire tracing using a multimeter. + Change out blades on cutters as necessary. + Implement and adhere to a Preventative Maintenance program. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance of electromechanical systems. + Experience with PLC and VFD troubleshooting. + Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, including wire tracing and multimeter use. + Knowledge of mechanical systems, including conveyor maintenance and blade changing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding of schematics for preventative and corrective maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in an industrial setting. + Experience with electrical maintenance in a food distribution environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that has recently expanded its facility, offering long-term growth opportunities for employees.
