Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for inspecting buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment. This role requires performing troubleshooting and repairs on all equipment, focusing on preventative maintenance, particularly in plumbing, as pumps are a significant part of our process. The technician will respond to emergency calls and ensure the smooth operation of all systems, filters, bearings, and rollers.
ResponsibilitiesInspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment.Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all equipment.Conduct preventative maintenance on systems, filters, bearings, and rollers.Handle plumbing, electrical, and machine maintenance tasks, with a focus on plumbing.Respond to emergency calls promptly.Occasionally work on Saturdays, approximately once a month.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance technician roles.Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Strong knowledge in preventive maintenance and industrial systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Hands-on maintenance experience.Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures for using chemicals, power tools, and hand tools.Ability to operate and maintain equipment and supplies.Understanding of methods, techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance, repair, electrical, and plumbing work.Ability to follow procedures for installing, testing, operating, or repairing machinery or technology systems.Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.Capability to perform work independently.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with a moderate noise level. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and occasionally sit. The job requires frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward reaching. Employees must be capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Intense safety training is provided, especially regarding chemical handling, with mandatory apprentice forms signed post-training. The typical shift starts at 6:00 AM and goes until finish, with Fridays often being shorter workdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
