Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Myerstown, PA
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Hours: Flexible | 20–40 hours/week (average 30 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Assignment Type: 1-year contract with potential to convert to permanent

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Industrial Maintenance Technician to support site-wide operations and facilities at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Myerstown, PA. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, working with a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, and ensuring processes stay efficient and compliant—you’ll fit right in.
Perform preventive, routine, and non-routine maintenance across facility and utility systems
Support GMP and OSHA compliance by following safety protocols, SOPs, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (up to 480V), HVAC, pumps, fans, and PLC-driven equipment
Assist in installation, qualification, and commissioning of equipment alongside engineers
Read and modify PLC ladder logic and control system documentation
Conduct fire system inspections and perform routine building repairs
Fabricate and install metal and plastic components using welding, cutting, and machining tools
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
Maintain documentation and logs in accordance with cGMP standards
Collaborate across teams including QA, engineering, planning, and warehousing
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required
Technical associate degree or 2 years of vocational training preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including work with PLCs, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems
Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
Strong math skills and ability to work in both metric and standard units
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and email systems
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to work safely in a regulated production environment
Willingness to work overtime as required

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
