Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintenance Technician (mixture of electrical and mechanical) needed on 1st shift in Lakeland, FL at a food & bev manufacturing plant. MUST HAVE FOOD & BEV OR BAKERY EXPERIENCE

Shift & Pay

Shift: Monday - Friday 10hr day for first month, then move 3,2,2,3 schedule 12 hr shift 6p-6a

Pay: $30-$35/hr

ResponsibilitiesMust be able to troubleshoot and repair/maintain industrial automated equipment (both electrically and mechanically). Ability to diagnose electrical/mechanical malfunctions and failures, system repairs and replaces defective components through root cause analysisExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, ovens, conveyors, packaging systems, sensors, and relays.Will be responsible for repair for plant controls systems and troubleshooting PLCs - interfacing with equipmentSupport lock out tag outSupports fabrication and installation of equipmentExperience with robots are preferred!Competent with refrigeration systems and controlsMust adhere to all GMP and food safety policies and practicesAbility to troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley)Refrigeration experience

Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial maintenance experience within food and beverage or bakery environmentHigh school diploma5+ maintenance experience

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
