Industrial Maintenance Technician- 12 hour nights

If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician based out of our Fort Pierce, FL plant location working 12 hour night shift! Job purpose: Mechanical Technicians are responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mechanical systems used in the production at Silver-Line Plastics. Key Responsibilities: Safety First! Must maintain a safe and clean work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping Check equipment and operating systems for accuracy and efficiency wherever vital Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at the highest quality Resolve motor, pump, electrical, and hydraulic issues Show expertise in working with team and independently Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment daily Handle minor and sophisticated heavy industrial equipment like saws, pullers and bellers Align with company and customer regulations and policies Bring and maintain tools for the job Work all shifts flexibly when job demands Work independently to complete the job safely and effectively Minimum 18 years of age Other duties as assigned Job requirements: Education & Certificates + High school education, or equivalency is desired Technical Skills & Experience + Knowledge and experience in maintenance + At least 5 years in maintenance preferred + At least 3-years of electrical experience is a plus Proficiencies: + Verbal and written communication skills + Attention to detail + Team working skills + Ability to work independently + Social Skills + Multitasking skills Key relationships: Frequent communication with shift personnel, maintenance team and management. Working conditions: Safety First! Employee are required to wear protective eyewear, appropriate gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, safety shoes, and/or other. Employee will be exposed to a moderate level of hazards at work, such as moving machinery, repetitive motion, noise, powered industrial vehicle fork/reach/bucket lift/other. Regular work in a non-controlled temperature environment with exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Employee may be required to perform a considerable level of specific tasks such as prolonged standing on concrete, muscular action, body movements, working positions and visual attentiveness. Employee may experience progressive degrees of factors in the work process which may cause mental tension or anxiety.
