**Aerotek is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing daily maintenance and repairs of production equipment in the facility to ensure all equipment operates at full production capacity. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain support and manufacturing equipment and machinery, including mixers, conveyors, gas-fired ovens, boilers, sealers, and label printers. + Work on mechanical components such as gears, drives, and conveyors. + Perform electrical troubleshooting, change out drives, and adjust parameters. + Execute preventive and corrective maintenance accurately and in a timely manner. + Analyze test results, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and recommend equipment repairs. + Perform lockout/tag out procedures as needed to secure equipment according to guidelines. + Ensure adherence to equipment, fire, and electrical safety procedures during plant walkthroughs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and repair. + Experience with three-phase motors and maintenance technician skills. + Preventive and corrective maintenance capabilities. + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in food production. + PLC troubleshooting and fabrication abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-4 years of experience performing maintenance functions in a manufacturing facility. + Knowledge of electrical and machine control. + Experience with TIG welding stainless and aluminum, or refrigeration and HVAC. **Work Environment** The work environment involves a kitchen setting, requiring comfort in hot/cold and wet/dry conditions. It is a diverse workplace where employees must work alongside others who speak various languages. **second shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM).** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
