**Recycling Works** is looking for a _safety conscious_ **Maintenance Helper** to join the team at our recycling facility in **Elkhart, Indiana.** Our mechanic helper will perform repairs and preventative maintenance services and repairs on our equipment. Schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays as required for operational needs. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Performs repairs (including electrical and hydraulic systems) and assigned preventive maintenance services. + Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. + Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. + Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. + Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. + Will be working on the industrial machinery and other equipment as needed. + Other duties as assigned **Pay-** This position pays $22.00 per hour. **Requirements –** + Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day. + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. + First shift position but must be able to cover 2nd shift as needed. + Maintenance experience a huge plus! **_Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
