RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machineryPerforms preventative maintenance on mechanical machinery and electrical systemsTroubleshoots and repairs electrical controls including PLCs, 3 phase and single phase circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipmentAssists with installation and modification of mechanical and electrical systemsIdentifies equipment and process deficiencies to maximize production efficiencyMonitors spare parts inventories and makes recommendations to assure availabilityCompletes assigned work orders in a timely manner; communicates daily work performed and machine conditions via written, verbal or computer documentationMaintains safe and clean work environmentObserves all Company procedures, policies, and guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; education in electrical technology preferred5+ years’ experience related to repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems requiredExtensive electrical knowledge ranging from 110 to 480 volts of power (3 phase)Strong background using precision tools (micrometers, multi meters, indicators, voltage testers)Experience with electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives and motorsAbility to interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics/blueprintsStrong ability to troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controls (PLCs); PLC programming knowledge a plusAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds repetitivelyAble to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and/or kneel frequentlyAvailability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as neededAbility and willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)Good verbal and writing skillsAbility to work collaboratively with othersREPORTING STRUCTURE
