Work on problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionalsEstablish methods of maximum utilization of production facilities and personnelConduct cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methodsAssist manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and designOptimize the interconnected components of a manufacturing system (e.g., personnel workflow/ergonomics, materials logistics, production process sequence, and equipment layouts, etc.).You will also get to:

To be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or another applicable major and actively enrolled in the degree program at an accredited university To be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0Completed course work in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month minimum co-op assignmentNo other work experience is required.
