Job Summary

As a co-op/intern, you will be given real-world experience and challenging opportunities to develop and expand skills needed to become an industrial engineer in a retail environment. Work would focus on MOST, forecasting and scheduling, and analyses.

Experience Required: GPA of 3.0 or higher; Completion of Sophomore year in college studies working toward a degree, Excellent work record; 0 to 6 months working experience; Strong proficiency in MS Office applications PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook; Education Desired: Bachelors DegreeLifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds; Up to 25 poundsTravel Required: Regional - Daily, 10 - 25%; Regional - Daily, Less than 10%; Regional - Overnight, 10 - 25%Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

As a Giant Eagle co-op/intern no two days are the same, but a typical day may include the following:

Partner with mentor to learn more about best industrial engineering practicesActively participate in training activities, development opportunities, and eventsWork with department leadership to set goals and expectationsCollaborate with fellow department team members on projectsWork with department leaders to understand business reportingAssist with department needs as instructed
