You will be the Industrial Engineer for our Electronic Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for applying advanced Industrial Engineering techniques to optimize production processes and improve efficiency in our World Class Electronic Manufacturing facility.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes, applying traditional Industrial Engineering techniques, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
• Effectively apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines
• Perform labor, efficiency and capacity analyses as well as standard data development
• Identify and provide justification for required resources (capital, equipment, tools, etc.) based on analysis of production flow and capacity
• Analyze HPU variance and trends for assigned area(s) to identify and address opportunities for improvement
• Analyze and improve production layouts to be optimal for current and future production rates
• Evaluate and improve material handling methods in assigned area(s)
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited college or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 2 yrs professional experience
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Experience in data analyses and metric reporting
• Experience performing capacity analyses
• Experience in creating or modifying production layouts utilizing AutoCAD or similar software
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Trained/Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma tools and practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience in a production environment with knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes in a factory environment
• Experience creating and modifying Simulations using Simio software
• Experience developing process maps
• Skilled in problem-solving techniques and methods
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with Apriso
• Familiarity with MFC products and processes
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
