Descripción del empleo

Industrial Engineering is one of our main pillars to increase productivity and efficiency and
reduce production costs. This is done through the effective implementation of Standardized
Work, Time Management, Work Station design and Ergonomics methods, which help out to
align all processes and individual workplaces within the Value Stream and improve the line
KPIs.

Requisitos

1. Calculate production line capacity by measuring cycle time:
• Perform time studies bases on stopwatch and MTM-1 analysis (with specific frequency or as
requested by supervisor)
• MTM-1 analysis in CAPP knowledge
• Balance production lines to optimize the output of pieces
• Optimize operators’ workload
2. Create production documentation for operators
• Create and update work instructions in all working stations
• Create and update standardized work and improvements to balancing of operator workload,
based on time studies (stopwatch for machinery / MTMs for manual content) and balancing
charts
• Maintenance of IE documentation such as Capacity Charts, Capacity Matrix, Component
Tables
3. Cooperate with the ergonomic conditions in all working stations
• Perform Ergonomic Analysis (Ergochecks and IGEL studies), propose and follow up
workstation changes to improve ergonomic conditions of operators
4. Assist in the creation and maintenance of routings in SAP
• Create and update SAP routings based on the calculated cycle times with the use of CAPP
Knowledge
5. Create production conditions
• Line layout design, development and improvement (participates in PGLs for new lines)
• Perform Work Station Release (IE checklist) to new workstations / production lines, or
workstations with process changes
• Responsible for the design of line accessories, follow up acquisition process and coordinates
the release of accessories (ESD and Risk Analysis)
• Define and document layout improvements at Plant Level
• Responsible to propose and document improvements on production lines (ergonomic,
quality, IDC, time, etc.), according to KPI. Support in continuous improvement projects
6. Validate feasibility of logistics concept according to the production line needs:
• Approve suppliers and customers packaging
• Trigger materials repacking based on the production line needs

Bachelor degree: Industrial Engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, mechatronics.
