Potelco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Industrial Superintendent to support our growing portfolio of electrical and mission-critical data center projects across the U.S. This role provides on-site leadership for all field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of workmanship. What You'll DoField Leadership & Execution
Lead and manage daily on-site operations from initial mobilization through commissioning and turnover.Oversee all electrical scopes of work, including medium-voltage, power distribution, and mission-critical/data center infrastructure.Direct subcontractors, vendors, craft labor, and field personnel; ensure proper manpower allocation, sequencing, and adherence to project schedules.Enforce strict safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, Potelco, and client standards; stop work when hazards are identified and drive a strong safety culture.
Technical Oversight
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; ensure all electrical and MEP work is installed per contract documents and applicable codes.Coordinate installation, testing, start-up, and commissioning activities for electrical and integrated MEP systems.Support quality control processes, including inspections, redlines, punch-list management, and turnover documentation.
Planning & Coordination
Participate in pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and detailed scheduling discussions.Conduct daily/weekly site meetings with subcontractors, engineers, commissioning agents, and internal project teams.Identify field issues early and drive proactive resolution to maintain schedule, productivity, and quality expectations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed daily logs, manpower reports, material tracking, inspections, and progress documentation.Provide timely updates to Project Managers on schedule impacts, resource needs, risks, and field changes.Assist with coordination of RFIs, change orders, and field directives as needed.
Leadership & Culture
Mentor and train junior field personnel; promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Represent Potelco with clients, inspectors, and partners in a professional, solutions-oriented. What You'll Bring 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in field leadershipAbility to read and understand P6 schedulesExperience working with and interpreting BIM modelsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and the ability to learn new software tools quicklyStrong knowledge of electrical systems relevant to industrial, utility, and/or data center environments.OSHA 30 certification.Proven ability to manage subcontractors, field crews, logistics, and complex sequencing.Ability to interpret electrical drawings, MEP coordination models, technical specifications, and installation standards.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.Must be open to extensive travel across various project locations.Must pass mandatory drug screening.Valid driver’s license required.Preferred Qualifications
