Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Architect to join a multidisciplinary design team in a hands-on production role. The architect will manage 2–3 projects at a time, focusing on industrial and manufacturing facilities with some commercial work. Responsibilities include producing drawings and specifications, developing layouts and life-safety plans, and performing energy compliance checks. About 55% of the time will be spent in Revit creating roof and wall assemblies, renderings, and addressing unique conditions. The role involves coordinating with designers, engineers, clients, and project managers, participating in weekly owner calls, and supporting permitting and construction administration. This position offers growth into an integral management role while working with diverse materials such as concrete, block, and metal. Skills and Requirements • Licensed Architect (Strongly Preferred) • 6+ years industrial building design experience (large commercial/government acceptable) • Hands-on production role: AutoCAD & Revit proficiency • Knowledge of Life Safety Code, IBC, fire protection plans • Familiarity with energy compliance checks (COMCheck) • Architectural degree from accredited 4-year program • LEED Certification • Experience with industrial materials (concrete, block, metal; no wood/timber)
