**About the Role & Program** **Disney Tax is a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Disney Tax Operations is a key component that provides team members with varied opportunities which build skills and empower the tax professional of the future.  We want innovative team members who thrive on change and discovery.  This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact through meaningful change.** **The Indirect Tax Intern must be able to follow a tax calendar and complete all tasks to timely and accurately complete indirect tax returns, (including Property Tax, Sales/Use Tax, & Gross Receipts Tax), and related payments for all Disney U.S., U.S. Territory or Canadian entities. ** **This internship is a** **full-time, six-month** **commitment in the** **Orlando, FL** **area from** **January 2026 June 2026.** **What You Will Do** **This role could be a mixture of many different responsibilities! You could have the opportunity to:** **Help support tax audits and research** **Assist with generating and analyzing reports for preparation of property tax, sales/use tax, & gross receipts tax for assigned business area(s)** **Reconcile indirect tax activity to the general ledger** **Analyze and communicate relevant tax rule changes/law developments to team members and leadership that could impact the business** **Collaborate with various teams within Disney, including technology teams, controllership and finance** **Assist with other special projects as needed** **Required Qualifications & Skills** **Takes initiative and has a process improvement mind set (Tech Savvy)** **Strong willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment** **Proficient in MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s)** **Possess strong time management skills – Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines** **Adaptable to change, easily pivots** **Possess an analytical mindset** **Strong attention to detail and accuracy** **Preferred Qualifications** **Advanced Excel skills** **Exposure to Alteryx and/or Power BI** **Education** **Junior or Senior preferred** **Major or previous coursework in** **Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related field** **Eligibility Requirements & Program Information** **Candidates for this opportunity** **MUST** **meet all of the below requirements:** **Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship** **​** **Be at least 18 years of age** **​** **Possess unrestricted work authorization** **​** **Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program** **Additional Information** **Candidate must be fully available to work** **full time hours** **(approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.** **This internship is an** **on-site position,** **but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.** **Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation** **for the duration of the internship program** **We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information** **click here** **We highly encourage applicants to print a copy of this job description so they can refer to it in the event they are selected to move forward in the interview process.
