Indirect Tax Intern, Spring 2026

The Indirect Tax Intern must be able to follow a tax calendar and complete all tasks to timely and accurately complete indirect tax returns, (including Property Tax, Sales/Use Tax, & Gross Receipts Tax), and related payments for all Disney U.S., U.S. Territory or Canadian entities. 

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 June 2026.

What You Will DoThis role could be a mixture of many different responsibilities! You could have the opportunity to:Help support tax audits and researchAssist with generating and analyzing reports for preparation of property tax, sales/use tax, & gross receipts tax for assigned business area(s)Reconcile indirect tax activity to the general ledger Analyze and communicate relevant tax rule changes/law developments to team members and leadership that could impact the business Collaborate with various teams within Disney, including technology teams, controllership and financeAssist with other special projects as needed 

Required Qualifications & Skills Takes initiative and has a process improvement mind set (Tech Savvy) Strong willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficient in MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s)Possess strong time management skills – Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines  Adaptable to change, easily pivotsPossess an analytical mindset Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Excel skillsExposure to Alteryx and/or Power BI

EducationJunior or Senior preferred Major or previous coursework in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​Be at least 18 years of age​Possess unrestricted work authorization​Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.50 per hour.
