Indirect Procurement (IP) is a Finance function dealing with the purchases of goods and services not directly involved in product manufacturing like raw materials. Its scope covers Marketing & Communication, Boutique Construction, Logistics & Transportation, Human Resources, General Services, Professional Services, Travel & Events, Marketing & POS, IT & Telecom, Property & Facilities.
Context:
The Indirect Procurement function at CHANEL aims to achieve two main objectives:
Maximize value for money while maintaining quality and brand imageManage supplier risk in all key areas (ESG, finance, legal, compliance).BenSca represent a key zone for CHANEL Europe. This market consolidation is very recent. The main expectation in this new context will be to harmonise purchasing processes across the six markets and work on opportunities for synergies.
This position is created to support these markets to improve their operational efficiency, to structure the supplier panel and manage the compliance our partners.

In the position of INDIRECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER, you will be at the heart of the procurement activities of Chanel Europe working on all Divisions (Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, Watches & fine Jewelry, Corporate) and focus on all Indirect Procurement categories : Marketing & Communication, Boutique Construction, Logistics & Transportation, Human Resources, General Services, Professional Services, Travel & Events, Marketing & POS, IT & Telecom, Property & Facilities.
You will be reporting to the local CFO and to the Europe Head of Indirect Procurement.
You will provide essential support in the evolvement of the Procurement function and its tools, sharing best procurement practices and work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their business expectations and requirements and how they can be met.
This role will be supporting our business teams on the management of the procurement process, from strategic sourcing, professional negotiation, contract management, vendor performance, risk assessment, and overall supplier panel management. You will be expected to provide reporting on the financial performance of projects, the supplier knowledge and risk assessment.

Monitor Risk Management (Legal, Finance, Compliance) and Sustainable Procurement Support Contract ManagementSupport business users in their sourcing and tendering process:
Sourcing projects and RFI (Request for Information) ensuring collaboration with internal business partners Design procurement tools (quotation grids, evaluation grid, business review templates…)Prepare and support tenders/RFP (Request for Proposals)Conduct financial and spend analysisLead professional negotiationsAward supplier, implement legal agreements & report benefitsImprove overall Procurement & Sustainability Performance:

Create together with business partners and suppliers’ relevant catalogues and forms to make ordering easier to achieve our “No PO, no Pay” ambitionEnsure the application of financial guidelines regarding payment terms and support payment on time of our suppliersWhat you will bring to this role:
