Indirect Materials Sourcing Specialist (18 Months)
Emerson is looking for a Indirect Materials Sourcing Specialist for our office in Cluj (Romania). In this role, you will be involved in performing the indirect material procurement strategy, ensuring optimized supplier management, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation. This role will drive supplier selection, commercial terms negotiations, and sourcing initiatives to support business continuity and operational excellence. Operating within a highly matrixed organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Maintenance team, as well as Enterprise team to align indirect spend strategies with EMEA-wide sourcing initiatives for Flow sites in Europe. The position calls for a strong analytical mentality and a proactive approach to supply chain optimization. We look forward to receiving your application! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Monitor and analyze market dynamics, cost drivers, and supplier performance to drive strategic decision-making. + Identify, develop, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost competitiveness, reliability, and service excellence. + Develop and implement spend management strategies, including supplier assessments, rationalization, and negotiation to achieve the best total cost of ownership. + Foster collaboration between suppliers and internal collaborators to ensure alignment of business objectives and procurement goals. + Drive suppliers negotiations, initiate and finalize commercial agreements with them. + Carry out indirect commodity strategies in alignment with site production requirements and EMEA-wide sourcing initiatives. + Support production teams in implementing the Indirect Materials strategic plan, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business priorities. + Implement Emerson initiatives and activities at the supplier level. + Perform additional tasks as assigned by direct management or company leadership in compliance with legal and organizational requirements **Who You Are:** You are a customer-focused professional who excels at aligning plans and delivering results.
