**Role Overview** + The Banking organization, which includes Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank, oversees the delivery of the full firm to clients in over 90 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence. It harnesses the power of Citi’s talent, expertise and global reach to serve large and mid-sized company wherever they do business and achieve their strategic objectives + The India Banking Business Execution team is responsible for supporting the franchise heads in Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank - executing business strategy, driving operational excellence and promoting a robust control environment + We are seeking an AVP (C12) to join the India Banking Business Execution team who can work closely with India Banking business heads, functional partners and Banking JANA & AS Business Execution team to support day-to-day management of the business + The ideal candidate should be an effective communicator who can work alongside local and regional Business Execution team members, supporting and executing India Banking franchise's strategic agenda. Thought leadership, problem-solving ability and commercial awareness are essential attributes. + A good understanding of the Banking industry, related risks and regulatory environment would be helpful **Key Responsibilities** + Analyze and communicate financial performance, client opportunities, market trends and provide insights for country, cluster and global stakeholders + Coordinate regular business planning and review, and prepare analysis and senior management presentation for decision support + Support the cluster Banking Business Execution team in executing business solutions along with product partners to address client needs and objectives + Execute key initiatives /projects for India Banking franchise + Work with business leaders and Risk and Control partners to ensure a robust operating environment, compliant with applicable laws, regulation and Citi policies **Development Value** + High profile opportunity with exposure to and regular interactions with Banking leadership team + Deep understanding of Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking and broader Citi businesses locally and regionally + Network relationship management skills **Experience / Skills** + 6+ years’ experience in Banking / Financial Services / Management Consulting + Basic problem-solving toolkit (structured and robust thought process with clear articulation of ideas) + Intellectually curious and highly energetic, a self-starter who is able to identify opportunities and execute independently + Commercial focus, ready to take ownership and accountability, and proactive mindset + Comfortable with large datasets, strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail + Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels and work collaborative in a team + Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
