We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Experienced Associate to join our Independence Internal Firm Services team in Athens.   You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and tackle real business challenges - all while learning, growing, and redefining what is possible. 

This position is within a key internal function that is considered critical for the services, business relationships, financial interests of our Firm and the Firm’s employees.   

 
In this role you will have to participate in the implementation of complex domestic, EU and US regulations to ensure that both PwC service offerings, financial interests and business relationships as well as PwC’s employee financial interests and relationships are in compliance with the auditor's independence legislative framework and PwC network policies.

Your job description:    

Liaise with all Lines of Services (Advisory, Assurance, Tax & Legal) to address inquiries & consultations and participate in meetings with internal stakeholders 

Provide support for monitoring processes and procedures of the Independence Office (i.e., Personal Independence Compliance, Training, Compliance with Network Standards, etc) 

Monitor Regulatory developments and changes and collaborate with Regulatory team 

Monitor changes driven by PwC Global and empowerment of communication channels with the Network 

Assist in the implementation of Global Independence initiatives 

Work collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with team to bring efficiencies and exploit technology opportunities

Bachelor's or Master's degree in political sciences, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting and any other relevant field 

1-3 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment 

General knowledge of regulatory and business environment 

An inquisitive nature which is inclined to investigate, identify issues, and solve problems 

Ability to exercise professional judgment in performing the tasks assigned 

Ability to implement and adapt to new or changing environment

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a range of key stakeholders 

Strong communication, project management skills and multitasking 

Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
