What You Will Do:
Through this role you have an opportunity to design and develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.Architecture & Design Reviews and Code Reviews across teams.You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes, best practices and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concernsYou will show your skills in analyzing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performanceTroubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your workYou will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applicationsStrive for Everyday Engineering Excellence and Operational Excellence through innovation and product focus mindsetBe self-driven, self-motivated, comfortable with aggressive deadlines and getting your team to execute on fast iteration cyclesLead the technical team and follow established practices for the delivery and provide reporting on the development and meet standards of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). Ensure the deliverables are on time and with zero defects.Implement the GenAI solutions which helps the Customer support to Self Serve the Walmart CustomersWhat you'll bring:
10+ years Full-stack engineer with experience in design & ArchitectureBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceExperience in Leading the Technical team with a strong communication skillExperience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring MVCStrong in writing modular and testable code and test cases (unit, functional and integration) using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Mock MVCExperience developing micro-services architecture, and good understanding of distributed concepts, common design principles, design patterns and cloud applications. Experience in service-oriented architecture, inter dependency service management and orchestration.Experience in troubleshooting critical production issues at the plaform level Experience designing and testing RDBMS and No SQL databasesExperience in working with Caching technology like Redis, Mem cache or other related Systems. Experience in working with Kafka. Experience in working with GraphQL and REST APIs.Experience building customisable, reusable, accessible cross-platform and dynamic frontend components using ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js/Express.jsA good understanding of and experience integrating with AI/ML/Gen AI services and componentsAbout Walmart Global Tech
