As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of inbound and outbound shipments through meticulous documentation and inspection. You will play a key role in maintaining warehouse discipline and ensuring that all inventory is managed effectively.
ResponsibilitiesTriage inbound shipments by prioritizing sales orders first and then stock.Verify required paperwork and traceability, including part/serial/batch numbers, certification types, trace chains, and dates.Scan and upload documents, take required photos, and enter records into the inventory system.Verify outbound part/serial numbers and documentation to ensure they are audit-ready.Package parts, create shipping labels for FedEx/UPS/DHL/freight, and prepare them for pickup.Update the system and send a closeout email to the Sales team with all documents and tracking information.Maintain clean staging areas and organized locations within the warehouse.Follow 'no loose parts' standards to ensure everything is tagged, tracked, and staged correctly.Essential SkillsExperience with inventory systems such as ERP/WMS/inventory tracking systems.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, PDFs, and basic Excel/Word.High attention to detail and comfort with checklist-based work.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.Willingness to ship Hazmat materials and obtain Hazmat certification (company supported).Prior forklift exposure is strongly preferred, with the willingness and ability to certify on the job.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.Familiarity with tools such as blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.Experience in documentation review and data entry.Experience with aviation parts and inspection of parts.Why Work Here?Join a team that prioritizes solving for the customer with responsiveness and support.
