**Position Summary**
Are you driven by quality and precision in manufacturing? At GKN Automotive, we're looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer who will ensure the flawless execution of production processes and the right-first-time delivery of products to our customers. In this role, you will:
• Implement and uphold quality standards aligned with QMS processes.
• Audit and assess manufacturing operations for process capability and compliance.
• Develop and coordinate testing strategies to identify and contain non-conforming parts.
• Maintain and update technical documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flows.
• Lead improvement actions, share lessons learned, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
This is a high-impact position for professionals passionate about precision, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Experience in the automotive or advanced manufacturing industry.
• Certifications in quality management systems or internal auditing.
• Familiarity with statistical tools or specialized quality software.
• Track record of leading improvement and transformation initiatives.
**Required Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plan, QMS, and End-of-Line testing protocols.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance and process documentation.

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring process conformity, leading quality testing strategies, and performing audits to maintain manufacturing excellence. Key responsibilities include implementing standards, designing inspection procedures, documenting process controls, and coordinating containment measures for non-conformities. The role demands ownership of QMS-related activities and active involvement in continuous improvement efforts.
