Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording of hotel revenues and effective management of receivables to support the financial integrity of Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane. This role plays a key part in safeguarding revenue, maintaining proper internal controls, and supporting the Finance team during pre-opening and operational phases.
You will work closely with Front Office, F&B, Sales, and other departments to ensure all revenue transactions are properly verified, reconciled, and recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and reconcile daily revenue transactions from all hotel outlets, including Rooms, F&B, Banquet, and other operating departments.
Ensure all revenues are correctly recorded and posted in the accounting system.
Perform daily income audit procedures, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain accurate revenue reports and supporting documentation.
Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, billing, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Monitor credit accounts and ensure compliance with approved credit policies and procedures.
Reconcile accounts and prepare aging reports for management review.
Coordinate with Sales and Front Office to resolve billing disputes or payment issues.
Support month-end closing processes and assist with audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and local statutory requirements.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, or Finance within a hotel or hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition, billing procedures, and internal control processes.
Experience with hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystem, MC, or similar) is an advantage.
Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Lao national with knowledge of local accounting practices and regulations.
Good communication skills in Lao and English.
Responsible, organized, and able to work accurately under pressure.
