Primary Function:
The essential function of this position is to provide exceptional customer support through ensuring the accuracy of inventory movement and warehousing. Accuracy in both receiving and inventory are paramount. This individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description. The Inbound Receiver would also perform quality inspections on all inbound product to ensure that product meets grower specifications and Mastronardi Produce Specification requirements. Inspection includes product traceability labeling as well as organic labeling compliance and the quality of the product. The Inbound Receiver prepares and completes audit reports as well as Non-Conformance Reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming shipments in a timely fashion, properly date code and labeled.
• Inspect shipment(s) for quality and count.
• Entering invoices accurately into the Navision ERP program.
• Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor and/or quality team.
• Complete all reports during and at the end of shift.
• Email any re-class information required and outback information to the appropriate distribution lists.
• Performs quality audits according to the Mastronardi Produce Quality Audit Program using established acceptance criteria outlined in computerized audit check-sheets and Food Safety guidelines. Makes a determination whether product meets criteria, which includes color, size, condition and weight of produce.
• Prepares audit reports and non-conformance reports using objective evidence collected.
• Conducts the required number of audits to meet the Receiving Department objectives set by the Receiving Inbound Manager.
• Reports non-conformance findings to responsible department manager/supervisor.
• Actively supports efforts to achieve and maintain SQF (Food Safety and Quality) certification.
Education/Background Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Education preferred
• Experience in produce industry preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to use and read measuring devices such as scales, calipers, rulers.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Must be high-performance team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, growing, demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal timemanagement skills and effectively manage associated stress.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately handle out-of-the-ordinary issues with a sense of urgency.
Working Conditions:
• Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
• Position requires long periods of standing and walking as well as use of step ladders to inspect stacked pallets of product.
