Inbound Logistics Coordinator
Description As an Inbound Logistics Coordinator, you will provide support to suppliers by responding to incoming calls and e-mails to include setting up pickups, providing ETAs for drivers, and assisting suppliers with post pickup reporting such as scale tickets/receiving reports. The Inbound Logistics Coordinator will create supplier purchase orders as requested and create pickup numbers using internal software system. You will dispatch drivers to include the generation of pickup sheets and unloading reports for incoming loads. You will manage a database software scale system for incoming scale traffic. Additionally, you will support the sales team by assisting with new supplier onboarding and entering initial and monthly cost updates for freight, equipment, and material purchases. In this role, you will track equipment onsite and offsite & follow up on received shipments to ensure suppliers payment in a timely manner. This includes communicating with your operations team about the status of trailers that have not unloaded and entering the grades received as reported on the unloading reports into system software. You will troubleshoot service issues, assist with monthly close out, and perform general office duties. As an Inbound Logistics Coordinator, you may be required to work with the freight team to report necessary equipment repairs and ensure equipment is tagged for repair/DOT renewals. You will work closely with internal freight department to provide driver logs and enter internal freight invoices for payment. You will ensure outsourced freight bills are sent to our freight department for prompt payment. You will be required to cross train as an Outbound Logistic Coordinator to serve as their back up when needed. Must Haves: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics with focus in import/export Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Previous warehouse/manufacturing office environment experience High School Diploma or GED Additional Skills & Qualifications Additional Skills & Competencies: • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and professional communication skills. • Work Standards - Setting high standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.  • Safety and Environmental Performance Awareness - Identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee safety and environmental protection.  • Planning & Organizing - Establishing courses of action for self to ensure that work is completed efficiently.  • Participating in a Team Setting - Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to participate as a cohesive team and contribute to the completion of team goals. • Read, analyze, and interpret business documents. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. • Apply good judgment understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. • Manage issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
