As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Job Description  

A career within SAP Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximize the value of their SAP investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive consulting, system integration and implementation services across multiple SAP applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions 

*Responsibilities:  

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows and data integration jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). 

Understand business data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions. 

Perform data extraction from various sources including SAP and non-SAP systems. 

Develop and maintain data cleansing, transformation, and loading routines to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

Optimize and tune BODS jobs to improve performance and throughput. 

Handle data validation, error handling, and debugging in ETL workflows. 

Collaborate with business analysts, SAP functional consultants, and database administrators to gather requirements and deliver solutions. 

Maintain technical documentation related to ETL development, interfaces, jobs, mappings, and workflows. 

Monitor and support data integration processes and resolve production issues. 

Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. 

Stay updated with the latest SAP BODS features, best practices, and industry trends. 

 

*Mandatory skill sets  

Strong expertise in ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling. 

Experience with SAP ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and extracting data from SAP sources. 

Proficient in designing BODS mappings, workflows, data flows, scripts, and batch jobs. 

Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, or other data warehousing platforms is a plus. 

Good understanding of SQL and relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2. 

Experience in SAP HANA modeling and integration with BODS is preferred. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 

Good communication skills to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders. 

 

*Preferred skill sets  

Knowledge of SAP Data Hub, SAP Data Intelligence is a plus. 

Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI suite. 

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
